I have applied for a scholarship in my own country, for a higher education, and fortunately in God's grace i was granted by that department to be a grantee of that scolarship. Fueled by my ardent desire to explore things in the outside wall, I have planned to apply for another scholarship outside of my country...now, as much as i desireto go for that scholarship the next semester is fast approaching anf so i will have no choice than to take the first opportunity that knocked first. Do i still have to submit my application for the scholarship in the other country or will i grab this scholarship which i already have?

Hi there rogersalvaciontan!
Congratulations for getting the scholarship!
If I were you, I would stay in the Philippines considering that you already have the scholarship. I understand that you are desirous of trying your luck abroad. However, it wouldn't be practical as of now. Unless of course, you can support your studies and other expenses while abroad. Besides, you already have something sure. Why take the risk of applying for something that is not sure yet? You might end up wasting time just for that. If I were you, I would take advantage of the scholarship I already have. If ever one day, I would be able to go abroad, then I would go after I obtain my degree. Besides, it would help me land on a better job abroad. Good luck!

I would surely prefer to study in another country, but will not work there. I feel that the education system in my country is a bit loose, and I would surely like to have my higher education from a country where the focus on practical and theoretical knowledge on the same basis. But I'll surely return to my own country and work for it. Make some things right and I can be the next popular person..

I'd definitely prefer staying in my own country. Once you go abroad, you tend to study there and start working there.I never want to do that. Want to do few good things for my country where i've been living all these years. Moreover I have got accustomed to my educational system are there are many good institutions over here. So would prefer staying in my own country, with my parents :) Only then will feel as if i'm in my HOME
Cheers :)
