I don’t have the habit of wearing my wedding ring since I don’t like to wear anything on my hand including a wrist watch. This issue has been the hot topic for and the cause of several disputes. I only wear it on special occasions. Do you wear your wedding ring?

Hello ronaldinu,
Yes, I always wear my wedding ring ever since I got married. I only take it off when I'm taking a bath. After which I put it back to my finger. It symbolizes my love and loyalty to my wife. It's just a simple one though but it's so precious to me.

Hi ronald, I always wear my wedding ring and the only reason I could think of for not wearing it would be the job I was doing. Since I am now retired I have no reason at all. I know there are some jobs where it can be dangerous to wear a ring and I can understand that. If however a man and wife are in agreement to wear it only at certain times, there shouldn't be any problem. Blessings.

I used to wear my wearing set, but would take it off when I got home. I then started not wearing it at all. I will wear it on special occassions only. My husband wears his all of the time, except for the time he called himself mad and did not wear it for a month, but other than that he wears his everyday. He has never said anything to me about not wearing mine, he seems to be fine with it.

No.. Because Still i am single, and even during my wedding i will not wear the Wedding Ring, because that is not our custom, we used to wear the item called "Thirumangalyam" (Thali) which is also made on Gold, and the same will be wear on the neck like the Chain..
Ring also we used to wear, but not as a wedding symbol, it may be for other fashions etc..
The "Thirumangalyam" which we are wearing during the Marriage (as a symbol of married Girl), we will not remove it from our neck at any point of time.. This is our custom. (this is our indian culture).
Very nice discussion.. Have a good day.

I love wearing my ring when it fits. But right now it is to snug. My husband doesn't wear his because of his job. He is a carpenter and it would just get tore up he tried wearing it at first but it got bent and scratched..so I would prefer him not to wear it and ruin it.

I wear my wedding ring all the time..day in ..day out. Even if it doesn't go with my outfit. It's more out of habit. My husband doesn't really bother if I wear it or not. But I like it and I wear it. I don't have too much jewellery..so it's usually a ring and a watch when I go out....besides my wedding chain and simple stud earrings.

My husband and I have nice matching wedding rings that once belonged to my grandparents, and we never take them off. Some people don't mind wearing jewelry, some people don't like it. My husband and I really don't mind rings. He doesn't wear a wristwatch, but I do. My watch strap broke last month, and it took me a few weeks to get the money to replace it. I really missed not having a watch, during that time.

I am married and no I don't wear wedding ring all the time
I only wear it if we dine out or special occassions and so does my husband
he never makes a big deal of it and neither do I
I like keeping my ring safe
I dont' wear it at home when doing house chores or gardening, play with my cat etc
I go out mostly for groceries so I don't feel like wearing it during that either

I don't wear my wedding ring, too. I don't have this habit. In fact I don't wear any jewelry as I am afraid of the crimes. I feel not safe when I wear jewelry when I am outside.
I love China

Yes I wear my wedding set. My hubby wears his ring as well. I get comments on my ring alot. It isn't typical. It has diamonds yes. But I also chose my hubbys birthstone. So you don't see alot of dark blue saphires. Makes hubby smile.

I wear my wedding rings all the time, I rarely take them off. My husband doesn't wear his that often, only if we're going out or something. He's a auto mechanic and he says its not good for him to wear it because it may get caught on something when he's working on a car, or if he touches something hot, it can burn. I'm pretty understanding about it, we don't have any disputes over it.

I always wear my engagement and wedding band. My husband, however, does take his wedding band off when he's involved in certain projects where his ring coould be damaged or could slip off. If not wearing your ring is causing a problem within your marriage it might be worth it to force yourself to wear it for awhile and see if you can get used to it. I hardly realize mine are on most of the time.

I always wear my wedding set. My husband wears his a lot. Sometimes he will take it off because of work. I had heard that a man wore his wedding band at work and it caught on a machine that he was working on and it ripped his finger off. I don't mind that my husband doesn't always wear his ring. As a matter of fact his company that he is working for is trying to make it mandatory that you not wear your ring while working.

i love to wear mine and hate havin it off, but my type of job that i do causes me not to wear it. so i would always have something there i decided to get a tatto on my ring finger in place of a ring, i got our wedding date in roman numerials tattooed on me. its a good thing cause i will always have something there to show that i am married. lets just hope that we dont get divorced thats the only bad thing about it. but if thats not an issue with you then i would get a tatto.

I have just discovered that my husband takes his wedding ring off every time he goes out for a drink, even to our local where everyone knows us or is already married! He says its not about finding other women it is just because "he's out" Am I totally naive or totally overreacting??
