Help!! My 100% wool sweater shrunk

Well my hubby accidentally washed my banana republic sweater. Which is 100% wool and it say at the tab dry clean only. So when I tried it on it totally shrunk, is there a way for me to save it? Thank you for all of your help.

You can wet it again and try to stretch and block it, but it may not get back to the original size. Don't let him near your white undies with a red shirt.

You might be able to stretch it out a bit, but you're not going to get it back to its original size. You can wash wool sweaters, but you have to handwash them in warm water, and handle them very gently. Sorry.

Sorry for the late response, but thank you I will try it tonight and hope it works. I don't want to waste my sweater its actually my favorite :).

Hello again!! I tried to do it last friday ( I finally got the time to do it). Anyway it worked!! so now I'm wearing it and its back to its normal size i think? well at least it fits me. Thank you so much for the help again.
