Yes Ma'am :D
I don't own a WII myself but I have a friend that has one, and have tested it several times. Sweating, fun, sore muscles, and then more fun. It's also a very social type of console we were standing in the middle of the room, not sitting on the couch. Usually played with 'crew' - not alone.
Also check out some youtube on it, it's great for fitness, and lots of fun. Enjoy your WII, that is money well spent :)

Yep - my arms were totally sore after the first day I played it. So much fun! We actually have a family bowling tournament every now and then, everyone has a blast, right down to the 2 & 3 year olds. I recommend it for the entertainment alone! But I do like the fact that when my kids are playing a game, they actually have to get up off their butt's to do it! I'm sure you can lose weight if you play it enough.

We have had a wii for almost a year and it's true. It can be quite a work out. The first time we played wii sports we all had sore muscles and were sweating. Another good, active and super fun game is Dance Dance Revolution. My daughter and I play it all the time and we are usually exhausted when we are finished. Another good thing about Dance Dance Revolution is that it has a work out mode that counts how many calories you burn. We don't have wii fit yet, but hope to get it soon.

We don't have a Wii there is one at my local YMCA that can be played. My son did a competion this year and he will be entered to win a Wii it would be nice if he could win one as they are still to expensive to be able to buy one. They are fun to play from what I have played on one though.

HI,
The Wii is the absolute greatest system i ever purchased. I purchased the Wii and the Wii fit. I lost 20 pounds using the wii fit. You get a serious workout with the wii fit. It has Yoga and all kinds of aerobics, you can jog(the jogging is hard). I was soo tired after the first day of doing the wii fit. I couldn't believe how out of shape i was in. The Yoga is super great! It lets you put in how much weight you would like to lose by a certain time, then you get a deadline so you have to do your wii fit exercises everyday. It's Awesome! You are going to love it. Good luck on finding a Wii system and Wii fit. It took me about 2 months to find it all. The Wii system and Wii fit are sold separately....Have a good day...:o)

Yup!:) Games are interactive and very user friendly. My arms were sore after playing Wii Sports for hours. You can also invite friends over and play bowling, tennis or other party games. It's a good investment and can guarantee you hours of enjoyment and exercise! I am currently planning to get Wii Fit and Wii Music.

I don't have one myself but I have played the game. It is really neat how when playing it feels like you are playing for real. I played golf, once, with a 5 year old girl and she beat me. She slattered me. She was so good at it and I was so pathetic. It was like really playing on a field. It was so real.
After playing I got teased by her parents and my friends, when told, and the little girl. I will have to babysit her again and have her a rematch. Maybe this time I can win, or not get beaten so badly. hehe
It is a really fun game and I think all families with children should have one. It is a good way for them to learn to play a game and find out if they like it, and maybe play it when they are older and be good at it.
It won't help you to lose weight because you really aren't playing, as in you aren't there walking. You are swinging a long stick and it simulates that you are playing the game right there. But as far as you actually getting the exercise, NO. You are really standing in one spot in your living room and looking at a TV and swing a stick, but just with wrist action. That is the talent for these games, wrist action.

Of course! It's fun and with all that jumping around and having fun at the same time you can loose weight whenever you wish too.
Currently I only have the Wii Sports game on Wii, but we'll get more soon.
Also when you get a wii you also automatically get a free game with it, Wii Sports.
Hope you get it in the end, heaps of fun. :)

I do not have a Wii, but I usually play with it in the malls, like in their displays. They really are fun to play with -- Wii!
