Do you think Mylot should sell it's own branded items?

I don't know why they should, because I don't buy branded items. The people here on myLot need money, they don't have the cash to spend on frivolous things like a myLot T-shirt. If myLot would pay us to wear them, they'd have a million or ten around the world!! But I don't think it's a practical idea for this place! We come for the money, we stay for the people!

I don't think they would raise a lot of money that way. It is certainly OK with me if they try it, but it just doesn't strike me as likely to be profitable.

What do you mean like jumpers and mugs, pencils and car stickers with Mylot emblazoned on them? That sounds like a great idea! It also promotes Mylot as well as getting more revenue from sales! But do other social networking sites do this? It would be the first and if Mylot gets in first the others will follow as well! Everyone does contemplate a time when Mylot cannot afford to pay members so this would be a great way of ensuring that all members are continued to get paid!

I think that is an excellent idea because it would help them make money to pay people on the fifteenth of every month and it would also get mylots name out there so more and more people would be on mylot which would help everyone,and mylot could sell things like buttons,mugs,hats,shirts,pencils,and all kinds of other neat things with their name on them,and I know I would definitely buy something if they sold products like that and I am sure my fiance would to.

Even if they do start selling these things, I dont think I will be buying any. My checking account is way to low to be spending money on things like that. And with the way the economy is, I need every little bit I have to go for bills and food.

Personally, I think this is an Excellent idea. I think myLot could really do Good by doing something like this, and in turn it would help boost up the amount of earnings they get so in turn they might be able to pay us better as well. Wonder if they have ever considered doing it, and how they could do it to help us be able to promote the site better as well.

I think it would be neat to see MyLot sell its own products with its logo on it. Or do it where we can earn on here and trade for the item. I would love a sweat shirt or tshirt with the MyLot logo on it. Evena coffee mug or mouse pad would be cool.

Hi desertdarlene, Yea I know it is an old discussion but I have been away long so there. This is an interesting suggestion and I am guessing myLot might have even considered it themselves at some point. I am not work if anyone would buy though - well actually I bet some would - just to get into the good books of the management haha. For me, well, I am not sure I would... I can't see why I want something with a myLot logo but that's just me. The idea might work though if it is tied to something... e.g. like whoever buys myLot items get a 50% bonus on their earnings lol. I bet more people will buy then. It would be like a package upgrade of sort then.

Bumper stickers, mugs, hats. There could be a marketing tool there.

That actually sounds like a good idea. I think I would consider buying it if it was cheap. It would probably benefit the site a lot, and it would also be useful.
