What would you do if you start seeing gray hair?

Would you:
1. Get a pair of tweezers and immediately pluck them out/ ask someone to pluck them out.
2. Whip out a box of hair dye and start coloring your hair.
3. Leave it as it is.
I know quite a lot of people who would do any of the three things I mentioned (If not all) . Lol. It's funny because the people I do know start to freak out when they start getting gray hair. Especially if they're only in their late 20's. I'd like to think that it's a sign of maturity. So far I haven't seen any. Whew. I do hope it takes me a while before I do get them.
So how about you my fellow MyLotter? Which of the three are you?

I'd leave it. Gray hair won't really matter to me unless half my head is already full of them. My sister had her "white" hair in her 20s. It suited her and we didn't really mind it. Some old people say it means WISDOM.LOL! I do get one every now and then. When my husband sees it, he is the one who takes it out. I enjoy doing the same to him. He says it is very very itchy.

Hehe... That's what Old people say. It's a sign of wisdom. Some would say that each gray hair would be a corresponding problem that you had to go through. Lol.

I started getting gray hairs around 26 now I'm 29. My husband would sometimes put his hand through my hair and noticed how much I've gotten. I was embarrassed at first and ask if he'll pluck them out for me. He refused and just looked at me and say, just leave it honey, it's fine. I don't know if he said that just to make me happy or it's because he was just lazy. LOL.
I'm nearly to blame as well as it pertains to healthy choices in the things you eat. I'm not much of a health nut but I do splurge out a some high fat level content every now and then. I can see a little thinning around the top and sides but it doesn't really bother me much until someone blows it out of proportion. I would just say, I don't know.
As for the white/gray hairs, I'm going to leave them ... hmmm, maybe I can pay my little brother to pluck them out ... gtg. Thanks for the discussion!

I used to color my hair, but when the grey started coming in I found it very hard to keep it covered with the dyes...they just wouldn't stay in! So, I just gave up on it lol. My grey is evenly peppered, more natural color still showing than grey. Up by my one temple though I'm developing what I call my Elvira streak. It's just about an inch round plug of hair that is all grey, unusual to say the least. I've known people in their 20's who started to go grey early, and I've seen way older people who haven't despite their age. It doesn't bother me to just be my natural self.

Fortunately I haven't had so many gray hairs where I needed to dye my hair, I usually just leave it as it is. Though sometimes my husband does pluck them out for me, especially when they are really easy to spot. And with my dark hair they're almost always easy to spot. Except when they're not, like when they're hiding underneath the rest of my hair! LOL
Happy mylotting!

Well, I'm 22 now and if I should get gray hair anytime soon, I'm going to color it for sure. If I was a lot older, I probably wouldn't mind it too much. I don't think that anyone wants gray hair when you're in your 20's. We don't see it as a sign of maturity or find it attractive.

sadly when I was 20 I found my first gray hair :( I don't have many but 6 years later ... I have a couple stray gray hairs -- I pluck them.

damn! I already have one on my forehead, and I got so frustrated knowing that it's a sign of aging!.. I don't want to pull it off, since old folks says that you'll get more of them. darn!.. it doesn't feel good and I really don't know how to deal with it. I really don't want to dye just a piece of gray hair.
anyway, I am so lucky compared to others who has it even if they're still young. I know one, and she's just 10 years old, and has lot of!
