I am just the oppostie. I get caught singing to myself, and pretend to mumble. Actually it depends on where it is. In the narthex of the church I am really rather loud and outgoing, until someone comments on it. I have no real wasy of judging how good I am. In my church we are abundantly blessed with musicians, so I am just mediocer (sp) here.

i find that quite mad, i would rather be caught singing than taking to myself (people dont look at you as funny!", Thanks for the reply.

That's really cute! I never thought about pretending to sing if someone caught me talking to myself in public. I usually just mutter under my breath if I am out in public and feel the need to talk to myself, so if I've been caught I haven't known it. But I will keep your tip in mind! I really like it! *laugh* ^_^

It just happened to me awhile ago while responding to a discussion. I guess it would be natural if it does not happen frequently, but if it does then I guess that would be a problem and you need immediate consultation. lol. just kidding.

I must admit I talk to myself all the time! At home at work..I try not to do it too much wile walking down the street or on public transportation, so that people aren't scared of the crazy girl....although keeping people away from me on public transport might not be a bad idea. I think the place where I talk to myself most often is at work. My boss talks to herself too, so perhaps that's why I do it more. I do find it helps me to keep track of things better...details and such, especially if I have a lot on my to-do list. I know it home it sometimes drives my boyfriend crazy as he never knows if I am talking to him or talking to myself!

Yes, I was caught sometimes, and really i am somewhat ashamed. I do the same thing, as if I am humming a song. But will you please refrain from doing it, come people may think of you as crazy, and its no good that youll be seen in your work and school, in the church, in restaurant talking to yourself.
