This discussion is designed to give a balanced viewpoint on the nature of terrorism its advocates and both ends of the extreme scale depending on where you sit on the fence. I am interested in your views in world politics as to where we are now, where we were and where we are going.
Just because one has F16's and Tomahawks does that exclude one from being a terrorist, or is that mass murder? Just because one has a means of a few men and few bombs but makes desperate and fatal attacks, is that terrorism??
In simple terms, terror is to create unnecessary fear including the threat of, and or murder, and terrorism would then be carrying out a campaign of such acts. Is it just Osama, or Palistinians who are guilty of this, or does it include the friendly nations raining cluster bombs on civilians (lebanon still have munitions with children picking them up), or American bombs in heavy populated neighbourhoods, and collateral damage??
Terrorism or extremism? Isn't George Bush's response to Iran and others on the extreme side? Invading Iraq was unprecedented and for what no WMD, isn't that extremism?
Discuss, I would like your viewpoints -

George Bush should have never started the war. He already had Iraq checked for chemical warfare and found none....and no nuclear either. So why did we go over there? We have lost thousands of our people for George Bush...Why? Because he thought he had to finish what his father started. Now it's over, let's bring our boys home...and let's NOT spend money on rebuilding Iraq! What's up with the US anyway? We go over and blow another country up and then we finance the rebuilding of the country? That's totally crazy!!!

I agree, but would add, that thousands of American soldiers lost, but the 100s of thousands of people who've lost their lives connected to this war not to mention the millions who have been terrorised in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Until the American psyche does not take a superior view on the rest of the world population, it will be guilty of such hideous acts.
