i'm kinda crazy about it. though it takes a long time to finish one simple piece of working, and it's not good for my eyes, i just love it. i always search the internet for stitching pictures, but not always i'm lucky enough to find content ones. do you have any good web to recommend. thanks. :)
then do you like cross stitching? how do you feel when you're doing stitching?

I got crazy over this one. in fact I could finish a whole piece (as big as 6feet by six feet) in a week. I was fast because I wanted to see the end product. It even came to a point that I have about 6 pieces which I haven't had it framed yet. I have stopped now because my daughter is at the stage of touching everything. LOL!

ha ha ha ha ha... the last piece of cross stitch I did was like 20 years ago. And I did not even get the chance to finish it!
I remember the pattern I tried to stitch is created by my self.
What I did was to find a nice piece of picture I like, then I get a graph paper and trace out the pattern with tracing paper on it. And using color pencils, I color out the places I want to do in that particular color. And then I just stitch according to the graph paper I created.
If I want the picture bigger, I just go to the bookshop and enlarge it with the photocopier before transferring it to the graph paper.
With photoshop and other software now a days, you can easily make any picture into a stitch stencil with a little effort.

You know I have yet to finish a cross stitch project. I usually do the ity bitty ones, but usually somewhere along the way I miscounted and then I get a lil po'd cause they usually don't give you enough extra to fix it. I did a lovely one w/ beading in it and I missed a few stitches, put it aside and never touched it again.
