Jobs in IT field

A lot of firms in IT field are facing a crisis now a days. One of my friends, who joined a MNC 6 months back with salary 30,000 INR, now lost his Job. Are u working in IT field? Do u think that your job is secure. Are you prepared to face any sudden decrease in your income? Do you have any advice to the guys seeking job in IT field?

i dont think that would decrease the income, as we all know, we are in a fast changing technology nowadays, and the IT people plays an important role in the community. Web designing, programming, lay out designs, graphics, these are some you do when you're an IT.. actually when youre in the IT field, being a freelance is much better! coz youre salary is really high compared than those that was employed, for the salary will be given direct to you, and you can name the price you want! Actually, IT, and other fields in Computer has a very high salary! these people are needed for our technology to grow and grow! :)
