The measure seeks to change long-ingrained habits in the country where subsidized cigarettes are still handed out with the government ration book. Cuban leader Fidel Castro gave up the habit in 1986. Do you think that the Government should ban smoking?

No I don't and the reason for this, is because it is in our own free will. But I do believe there should be laws protecting the non-smoker for his own reasons and his own health. I mean it his right to live in an environment that could slowly jeopardize his life but it is also the right of the smoker to smoke, for that is his own free will and right. That is why they have banned smoking in alot of public places and restaurants. I guess each side has his/her own space. http://smokingquittips78965.blogspot.com/

I would strongly suggest for smoking to be banned in public and open spaces because apparently not everybody smokes and that includes me. This would help people from regulating their smoking. Anyway we all know it's bad for our health.
