In you country/place, what is the most popular course in college?

Here in our country (Philippines) one of the most famous course in college is BS Nursing. There are thousands of recently graduated and student nurses still here in the Philippines. And most of university and college school here offer nursing course. Because the work demand from foreign countries for nurses been huge. In your place what is the most famous course in college? And what do you think is the effect of taking up such popular course?

In our country (u.s) i think that it might be A.S. in nursing. The college i go to now that is the most selected major.

In India there is a huge welcome for many fields.. Best is engineering fields and management fields,. Many prefer computer science line or communications line.. A good boom in electronics and communication worldwide,, Other management fields also have a boom now..

Oh,in chinese college,I think the most popular course is Marxist philosophy,Mao zedong thought,Deng xiaoping theory.Students from primary school must learn these course.Until now I have to learn these although I am already a graduate student.Because these course should be used in nearly all kinds of examinations.Frankly speaking,I don't want to learn these course,but all of us have to.

In Romania the most popular courses are those of Romanian and mathematics.
I think that is an aberration that they are the most promoted. Therefore in Romania do not leave too many eople really able to do something good.
There were all climbed to head democracy and have forgotten that it takes discipline ...
But are and colleges where the focus is on the job. The most common are Catering and Tourism (cook, waiter, guide, hotel ...).

I live in India and Engineering is the most popular course. A lot of people take up engineering. With the huge Industrial sector growth by the day, there's a lot of scope for aspiring engineers to get jobs easily.
A lot of people also prefer economics related courses such as B.Com,MBA,etc to cater to the growing demands of entrepreneurs in all fields.
