Welcome to mylot will_fang! I am no expert at poker bit I do enjoy playing it. If you check out Pokerroom.com you can sign up for a free account and then go and play against real people in a number of different rooms. You can even take part in tournaments etc with no real money also. I have found this site to be one of the better ones. If you rin out of your virtual money they refresh your balance the following day so you can keep playing.

pitbullpoker.com - i like the Freerolls there. you can enter a Freeroll toournament for free, but if you get at the final table you can win real money. I used to play these right when I started playing poker, and usually finished about 300'th out of 600 people. Then I played one more recently, after I read and learned a lot about Poker, and ended up at the final table, and finished second, won 5 bucks :D These Freerolls are every hour, at 30 minutes past. (12:30, 1:30, 2:30 and so on) tagged.com for instance is a social site, but does have free online poker as well, for play money. Interesting if you're looking to meet people. I bet a LOT of other sites have play money poker as well, just do a few searches. Good luck :D

most sites will include a way to play with fake money. NLOP lets you play for real money without having to risk your own. the downside is its not much money and you have to beat a lot of people. some sites will have freeroll tournaments but same story.

I live in China. If you get a QQ number, you can log on to QQgame.com, lots of participants in QQ poker club, for free.

may i suggest you sign up at 5a poker. this is a wonderful site. it offers free sng tournaments running all day every day as soon as 10 players sit at table. i find these fill up every few minutes, ok so it not a large huge prize but you can win a few these and slowly build yourself up a nice little egg nest to start your poker playing i enjoy this way as learn how to play without costing any real money

dude i play poker religiously i love texas hold'em. i went to www.pokerstars.com and downloaded their game it has great play and there is play money aswell as the option to add and play for real money
