In the recently concluded India Vs Australia Test match, who do you think won the psycological battle? Everyone will accept that both the teams had their bad times and both the teams had the difficult times which the battled to bring out the result. But who won psycologically? And Who takes positives into the next match?

both teams had there there ups and downs in the test match . aussie players like ponting, hussey, katich showed that they were in really good nick. for india though there middle order goofed up the tail showed their talent as they were able to hold the aussie for so long. well in the second innings its was sourav's turn to do something and as usual he kept laxman and aussie waiting after the post tea session but in the end it was a hard fought test match and lets see whats there to come in the upcoming matches

I don't think either of the teams won psychologically. There are positives and negatives to be taken by both the teams. Indian top order collapsed terribly in the first innings, with Dravid and Ganguly scoring a few runs. However it was a great sign to see the tail wag for so long, which is a very uncommon sight for the Indian team. Good to see Sachin back to his scoring self,if not his best, we can hopefully see him scoring a lot in his next innings. Considering Australia, they played very well in the first innings, both in batting and bowling. In bowling, they made a good job wrapping the top order easily but couldn't keep their momentum going by not able to windup the tail. In the batting department, they brilliantly exploited the fielding of Indians by maintaining pressure on the fielders by always trying make quick runs between the wickets. Not to mention the performances of Ponting and Hussey. Not being able to win the match despite having advantage over India, could affect the mindset of Australia.
