Canned Salmon Recipe?

Hi You can try sauteing it in 1/4 olive oil with lots of crushed garlic (about 1 head). Do not brown the garlic, but just let it add its flavor to the oil. Season it with salt and some basil. If you like it creamier you may add 2 tbsp of butter to the recipe. This is easy and uses only a few ingredients. Great with pasta, especially angel hair pasta. I am cooking this tonight to enjoy with my husband. Happy cooking!

There are TONS of recipes you can make with canned salmon! Instead of Tuna Salad sandwhiches you could make Salmon Salad, or Cheesey Salmon and Pasta: A package of spaghetti or your favorite pasta 1 1/2 tb olive oil 1 c sweet onion chopped 3 green onions chopped 2 tbs of pesto 12 oz of salmon (drained and flaked) 1/2 Parm cheese (I usually add more :) lemon wedge if you want Cook pasta in salted water as directed on package. Heat olive oil in skillet. Saute sweet and green onions along with pesto. Cook until tender. Mix salmon until heated thru. Stir in half of the parm cheese and cook for 5 mins. Add pasta and rest of cheese and a squeeze of lemon! You could add more stuff if you want, garlic, tomatos, mushrooms but you requested not too many ingredients :) You can do salmon cakes, salmon dip... man I sound like Bubba from Forest Gump.
