Has your love ever lied to you?

Yes. And it hurts. A lot. I was away from my boyfriend when I celebrated my birthday. I thought he was just at home. But the day after, when I checked his myspace account.. he was dumb enough to upload his new pictures taken exactly the day I celebrated my birthday and the time? Early in the morning. He was with his ex. Ouch! We dated for 5 years. We broke up already. Good for me because I had it with him. Lessons learned. "The truth hurts awhile, but a lie hurts forever". Best of luck

it always hurts when the one you love or even anyone important to you was the one who lied to you. what i try to do was to think about his reason for lying to me. i listen to his explanations.

My spouse has lied to me in the past, and I am sure he still does occassionally. It may take a while, but i always catch him in his lies. I react differently depending on the lie. If it is a stupid lie, I may just laugh it off. If it is a more serious lie, I remind him that each time he lies to me, I lose a little trust in him, and find it hard to believe anything that he says. He is getting better over time, but I know that he still tells me lies, and it does bother me,but, I have learned to pay attention to his actions and determine whether he is lying or not.
