have you ever experienced the power of prayer when it is done wholeheartedly? sometime of December 2003, i was heavily in troubled , everybody don't knew how do i get through it. i just prayed......hopeful He would soon be listening to me......... i never imagined, what i asked from Him was just coming my way unexpectedly.i think asking Him something needs patience, because it will surely come your way, the best for you, in the best time you needed most.

interesting topic. There seems to be scientific evidence that, for instance, prayer lowers adrenaline leading to reduced stress. Also, there have been hundreds of testimonies of people who decided to pray when their personal effort was not enough. The result was positive and are scientifically confirmed. Perhaps the atheists will agree that the human mind is not fully understood even in this advanced age. I believe that the subconcious mind can actually be controlled. If the results of praying are positive, then perhaps more people would be helped by praying. Cheers :)

yes i do believe in prayers, if only we could persuade others to pray everyday, am pretty sure we attain peace of mind, no wars at all.

yes, i already experienced the power of prayers. when you pray with all your hearts and with a very focused mind, God will really grant whatever you wished for. Praying to God is a very easy way to be with Him, to talk to Him, and to ask for something on Him.

yes i agree with you, praying is the only way we can talk to Him, the best way to communicate to Him, we are always heard.

i believe we do have to rely on our prayers. we need to feel that our prayers are granted and we shall always have what we desire.

Ask and you shall receive. It never fails, if we pray God is listening. I have always believe in the power of prayer... It never fails, and God never fails too.

Fantastic post, I totally agree with you. I believe this should be the priority in our lives. If we believe, have faith in and love God truly, genuinely then that is a wonderful thing, it truly helps you and makes you feel a unique way. It can only benefit a person. Any connection with God is true, it is true happiness - nothing compares, once you have had this feeling you realise no other compares, they are temporary and comparatively shallow. It creates a unique feeling and atmosphere. Like you say certain things happen in your life unexpectedly and work out so smoothly without you even realising at the time, this is totally God's doing and can help you realise the greatness, kindness and generosity of the Lord. We do so much wrong and forget the Lord yet demand they give us what we want without thinking whether we deserve it. When you feel God's warmth, when you feel God with you, when you have the Lord in your mind and think of Them even for a second it is an amazing feeling, you feel protected and cared for, almost invincible - all worries disappear. It is unfortunate that we cannot experience this all the time/constantly, that we forget and drift away. It is unfortunate that we tend to ONLY/MOSTLY reach towards God when we are in need of something, when we are suffering or in pain, when we have problems, when we have desires/wishes... Yet despite this, the Lord is still there for us, the Lord still helps us, provides for us. How great and wonderful is God? We can never know, we should devote ourselves as much as possible. Whosoever truly loves the Lord, constantly thinks of Them, keeps Them in their heart - they are truly blessed, that is the goal.

thanks for a nice comment, yah its true, we tend to forget HIM and remembered only when were in trouble. and then if we asked we expect answers as soon as possible, or immediate answers to our pleas, yet, GOD never ever say no to us only HE gives in the most possible and most needed time. if we are just patient waiting for HIS answers, surely that is he best for us. GOD BLESS!
