Who don't like 5-day than 6-day work?

Last week, the heads of the different departments in our company sponsored a debate about reducing the number of days of work. I watch the debate because I really wanted to know the diffrent views of the debaters. I love working five days only because I can have enough sleep and have enough time for my family. I am thinking not only for myself but for the company as well. If our work will be reduced to five days only, it would be very good. Why? We will be motivated to work harder so our performance will improve. Having work for for than that would add stress on our part. Our daily expenses will be minimized. On the negative side, there is a possibility that our deadlines will not be met. I think it's true. But I think they are just defending their side for the sake of having a debate. Our main office which is too far from us is operating for five days only. I think that is very much unfair because we are rendering the same kind of work and our salary is too far from of the main office workers. The affirmative side won the debate but it would never be implemented. We were already informed by the organizers. Too bad! What do you think?
