Lots of people are dealing with depression and very few know how important it is to feed our body and brain with right nutrition.
It is possible to come over the problem and sometimes professional help is needed, but it may be interesting to read an earlier discussion that I started here.

We need vitamins and minerals, but above all, the right fats.

Yes I have and I still do alot of times the way that I deal with it is to read and to also listen to music and get medicine for it and I have also talked to my husband about it so it makes it rough to where I don't want anybody around me.

Over the yrs. I too have had to deal with Depression, and problems, but with the help of Prayer, and counseling and motivating myself I have learned to work thru and get thru it. I came from a Very abusive childhood and have had to deal with a lot of issues resulting from that. It even has created Flash backs, and many feelings of non self worth, etc. But I have learned to overcome it, and the days where I might not always be feeling the Best, I find ways to motivate myself to take my mind off of that as well. Like posting here in myLot, reading a good book, taking a short nap, and doing some Praying and meditating on god. It is up to me to learn how to control it, and with these things I become a better person because of them as well.

I have dealt with it at different periods in my life. When it happens to me I usually feel a lot of anger and shut myself down from people. Once I realize what is actually happening, I make a conscious effort to calm down and not overreact to things and I force myself to interact with people. That usually does the trick for me.

Actually, i used to have really serious problems with depression. Don't know exactly how many months lasted- may be at least 6-7. I think that you are the only one who can find remedy for depression- you just need to find solution of the problems which make you feel depressed.I know it's not easy but if you have the will, you'll get through it
