Blue is my favorite color too. I use blue ink about 90% of the time. I use black ink in a notebook where the black ink goes better with the paper.

It doesn't matter what color pen I use as long as it works when I need it to I have multiple colors of pens red, blue, black, green, purple and I am sure other colors as well. I write with whatever pen is handy at the time no matter the color it is.

I generally use black ink because I think you can see it better. It makes it easier to read when I am balancing my check book. When I make edits to my writing I tend to use red ink or if I happen to find a different color like purple or green. I like having colors that really stand out.

Black pens. Just one kind of black pen. For some reason, this particular pen just feels right; not too fat, not too thin, writes smooth, fine line, no gobs of ink. Fortunately for me, they're cheap too!

I usually write with a black pen especially if they're documents. I would use a blue pen if I'm writing to a friend because I love the color blue... usually it's a metallic blue or a cute shade of blue... not the typical ones you buy from the book store.

I use black ink since it is easier to read with contrast to white paper. But that is just me.

It's not so much the color as the shape of the pen that makes me choose what I write with. I have one nice fat pen at work that is comfortable for my hand to hold--as you get older, you'll find the thin pen hurt your fingers. That pen is black, but if it were another color I'd still use it. Physical comfort is important when you have arthritis!

Well; I do not have any such preference for black or blue pen.
Sometimes;I write more with a black pen ; at other times ; more with a blue pen .

I grab whatever color is handy at the time..lol. However when i was working or in school, it had to be a blue pen...to me it looks neater, and more professional. Now ill write with a crayon if thats all that is within reach..lol and im just jotting a note or something here at home.

I keep regular journals and I just love writing in black ink! I have become used to this for many years and so I don't fancy changing my ink colour now! Writing becomes more enjoyable as well depending on the kind of pen that you use. I love using a pen that smoothly glides over the page! The very feeling of this is so pleasurable and you just want to keep on writing. Now that we have the good old computer I do a lot of my writing online! It's my private journals that always keep me picking up my black biro! Good luck with your writing. Andrew

I prefer blue ink. It is kind of funny because I think that I just answered a question you had about readable handwriting. I think my handwriting looks a little bit better in blue ink. Lol, don't ask me why, but it does.

i use black pens. i find them more formal than green pens. and i like the color and the contrasting effect it has on a white paper.. i like dark colored black pens or sign pens as they call it. they blot though if not used properly but i still like them and how smooth the writing looks!

I prefer to use blue pen in writing than black pen. I will not use black pen if I it isn't necessary to do that. I use value often then other pen color. I am comfortable read writing written with blue pen. My favorite color also is blue.
