Tuxedo Cats, I am learning from Mylot

Yes, that is the offical name. I have shared several pictures of my tuxedo kitty. I just uploaded a picture of her sitting in the yeard being all pensive-like. they are very sweet cats. At least mine is. she is very emotional and like to snuggle a great deal. My boyfreind named her Sylvester. I called her Sylvestar.

I have one too and didn't know they were called that until I found it on the internet somewhere--maybe here. My little Caryle is a joy. I will have to post some photos of her. They are also called bicolor cats too.

I have heard of that name before too. I am not sure if that is an actual name for the cat though. I think they sell them by that name though.

I love that term! I always called them cow cats after Jersey cows but we've always said that our cat Fontaine looks like she's all dressed up with nowhere to go in her little fur tuxedo! I always thought that Tux would be a cute name for a kitty like these.

LOL--I'm like you lilaclady...I've had cats all my life and yes, black and white ones, and never knew that was the term for them...I guess it's especially appropriate for predominantly black cats who have white on their chest area...like a tuxedo..

I agree with you its a great name I had one years ago that also had little white feet so it looked like white booties

I have learned quite a bit in the last year that I have been a member with mylot. I have learned a lot about different cultures and countries and even different languages. I learned the other day some words in Spanish, from one of the members here. I like to learn new things especially different things about different cultures. I also have improved on my typing skills since being a member here. I can type really good again. I hadn't typed for many years and now am so good at it I could get a job typing. hehe I love mylot for many reasons but the biggest reason is the learning about different countries and cultures and languages.

well..out of curiousity i checked upon this discussion as "tuxedo cats" kinda caught my attention.This is something new to me and I never knew @ it , tho we have cats at home. Well..thats learning for me too.thanks for sharing

Hey, that's a cute name for a cat. I guess it's called tuxedo cause of the black and white color hehe. I never had cats. Well I have some in my backyard but they're not really mine. They're street cats who just decided to live in my backyard. I still feed them though they're not my pets. Ciao!
