Do you think we should stop buying china products? I think we should. With all these melamine thing in their milk. It sounds very dangerous. I know that made in china is quite cheap but quality buying is very important. I heard this joke that all Creations is made bu God but the rest is made in china. I have nothing against them, I just think that there should be a balance in everything. How about made in the Philippines, Made in the U.S.A, Made in U.K, Made in Malaysia. I know that the company owners are paying cheap for made in china but wat about the quality?

Hi kekexinfeng! thank you for posting your comment on this. No offense meant. This is a worldwide issue now thats why people tend to get alarmed and its all over the news every night. I do admire chinese people because they had made a name in business all over the world. My foreign friends are quite investing a lot in china. I just thought that maybe if we all should buy our own made products then the world we live in and its economy would be better. People are very attracted to cheap products because their money has more value when they make their purchase. I don't even know how we all will be able to do a balance in this world.

There are enough products made in the US that you don't have to buy anything made out of the country. Just be careful in your purchases.

maybe I sould not say like the following.
please stop buying chinese products! maybe you think those things are not good. they might be bad. well, maybe you should pay more attentain to your daily use. China do not rich, Chinese do not rich, so the products are much cheaper.
maybe you do not like China, maybe you think Chinese take the money form you. but what is the truth? think by youself.

Well not only should we stop buying products from China because of the chemicals in their products that we're paying for but, we're taking away from jobs that are here in the U.S. You know jobs that keep our people here going. And, products made here in the U.S tend to be better made too. We need to focus more on our own country. If people stopped paying for foreign products, we'd actually be able to keep good, quality jobs here in the U.S.

I have been avoiding product made in china eversince the lead thing in the toys issue... i think their government is quite poor in regulation the quality of their products... and this melamine in their milk is the last straw... so now... everytime i go to the grocery... i check the bar code to be sure that the product i am buying is not made in China... better be safe than sorry...

I don't think we should stop buying goods made in China. It's better if we choose the highest quality that' s made in China because there are products made in China but the owners are not from China, they are sort of commissioned to be made in China but for the US or European market. The goods that are so cheap and easily broken or of poor quality are those mostly smuggled goods.
And it's the same as goods made in Philippines but the Philippine government does not own it and example would be the Export Processing Zones where most are foreign owned and for outside market as well.
Strict quality control should be imposed and people who are supposed to know and have known defects beforehand should do what is right and not wait for many months to investigate further while infants and people are dying.

I think that since this is the second time China has had the same sort of issue (the first being lead in children's toys a couple of years ago, including crayons, which any parent knows end up in mouths sooner or later) we should ban all products until strenuously tested for any and all chemical contaminants.
