as what i've observed now a days...many teenagers got pregnant, what do you think is the cause of this problems? is it because of the wrong brought-up of their parents or is it because of what they see around......
what can you say about the increasing early pregnancy especially teenagers?

i don't think it's parenting at all, my parents were the best, also warned me about everything that could go wrong, but i still did what i want, i think society as a whole has a lot to do with it. I used to look at others n think i want to be a young mom, though i didn't plan my son at 17, i didn't protect myself either, i just didn't care like i said, i thought being a young mom would be cool. I don't regret my son, i had 3 by the time i was 23, and i love em all!

i do think i made it because i did have lots of help from my family, i know lots of teens don't have family support so that is y they must use government assistance, so then that's when i think teens should be more responsible and finish high school or get a ged and get a good job.

well, there are many factors to this problem.
Firstly, some parents dont even BOTHER about their children. They just leave them alone and let them solve their own problems and all. Secondly, yes, some parents do teach their kids, but either they dont put their heart into teaching their children, OR, they were just brought up WRONGLY. some mothers might have also been a victim of teenage pregnancy, and then they were forced to get married. the next thing you know, the child ends up in an unhappy family. Children usually take their parents as a so called 'role model'. Then, the child would be thinking,"my parents did that, so why can't I?" They wouldn't think that teenage pregnancy is something wrong.
Thirdly, the child's maturity counts too. If they know how to think maturely and know how to differentiate between right and wrong, avoiding teenage pregancy should be really easy for them.

Perhaps both, with societal change being the greater.. I remember when I was young, it wasn't what my parents told me that mattered but what my peers thought and that was a reflection of what the world thinks..

Back when I was a teen, it was a way to get away from a bad home - you get pregnant so the boy will marry you and take you away from your parents. It is also about that the father not taking an interest in the girl, by not showing her fatherly love, so she turns to another. Most of the girls were neglected emotionally by their fathers, plus they do not get the moral support or the moral rules. It is what they see around them, free love, and all, but so do many good girls who do not get pregnant and the reason they do not is that their fathers take an interest in them, they allow them to bring their friends to the house so they can meet them. And then there are the girls who do not have fathers. These are the ones who get pregnant early as there is no male parent in their lives. Since there are more girls having babies, when these babies grow up, they will get pregnant early unless something turns them around.

i guess, one major factor, why there are a lot of teenage moms today, is the environment... whenever and wherever we look, we could see in movies, billboards, tvs, internet all about sexuality and sensuality. even if kids are brought up properly by their parents, which is what im doing right now with my kids, the environment has a big influence among the kids of today. so i guess, what the kids need today is a never ending patience and guidance from their elderly...
