hi dear friends oral hygeine each one of you is aware of . one takes care!! how much is the question? simply brushing the teeth or taking good care of your dental line? visiting a dentist at least once in six months? which schedule do you regularly follow? does a beautiful dental line adds to the beauty quotient??

Hi juhi06, I do take care teeth and gums an they are fine, I also brush my teeth three times a day, but its what you eat as well, eat healthy and visit the dentist but sometimes people cannot afford to go the dentist often, so you have to do your best to look after you teeth and use mouth everyday. I go to the dentist every 6 months (I had to cancel my August appointment because I was in hospital. I told them I would rather be there.) But that's most of my dental habits. At least, and unlike my roommates, I still have all my teeth!

Well, I brush my teeth everyday; so far, my teeth have behaved perfectly well. Sometimes, I do oil pulling; it is believed to be very good for oral hygiene. Cheers and happy mylotting

Yes it adds to beauty as well as health quotient. I'm really really conscious about hygeine in general and oral hygeine in particular. I brush twice a day and also when I have sweets or chocolates. Also keep my tongue clean. I hate people who are not conscious about oral hygeine Cheers

With ageing in human body there are many changes taking place. It is common to the oral cavity and surrounding tissues as well. Your teeth become darker in shade due to natural calcification. But if you brush and clean your mouth regularly and look after your teeth it will not become loose and fall off. Due to heavy brushing there can be brush cuts (abrasions), due to excessive grindings, there can be attritions. But all these complecations can be repaired. These are not reasons for loosing of teeth. But if you neglect looking after your oral hygiene, the main reason for loosing of teeth which is periodontitis (gum disease) can occur in your mouth and you will loose teeth.
