If you could replace the current president with one from the past (dead or alive), who would it be and why?
Unfortunately I know very little about past US presidents so I am going to leave it up to you - by the end of this post I hope to have learnt a lot about some of the greatest presidents the US has had.

Wow...great question. Who indeed?
From recent years, I actually wouldn't mind seeing Bill Clinton return to the office. Our country was in good shape during that time, with a strong economy and low levels of unemployment. I know that some of his personal issues might have looked badly on the news, but as a President, he was a great one, at least in my opinion.
If we're going back in time a little further, I would love to see FDR take office. He led this country during an incredibly difficult time (after the depression) and led us out of the depression into an era where prosperity became to flourish in this country again. We could certainly use that kind of leadership now.
