I just started to realize about bacon a few months ago. Before that I really have no idea that there's such delicious thing as bacon. I'm sure it's taste could be better, than just frying it directly, like I always did, perhaps I'm still a bad cook. Do you have any secret recipe that you can share??? Reminder: Your recipe must include bacon!!!... LOL

If you just want to eat the bacon as is and not have to fry it, I suggest baking your bacon in the oven. I did it once and it was great because it came out really crispy and a lot less greasy. All you need to do is heat your oven to 400 degrees F. Then simply line your bacon on a cookie sheet that has been covered in foil. I actually will even put my bacon on a baking rack on the cookie sheet so that the fat drips down and the bacon is less greasy. Bake the bacon for about 15 mins until it is as crispy as you want it. As for recipes that include adding bacon to other things, perhaps you might like some of these: Chicken, Bacon, and White Bean Soup Portugese-Style Recipe http://homecooking.about.com/od/soups/r/blss73.htm Baked Potato & Leek Soup with Cheddar & Bacon Recipe http://homecooking.about.com/od/soups/r/blss171.htm
