He is one of my favorite actors in hollywood. My most favorite of all is Forrest Gump. Then the Terminal with Catherine Zeta Jones, then Castaway were he played as a FedEx Supervisor or Manager who was cast away in an island for years, Saving Private Ryan which is the name of my boyfriend, Philadelphia, Sleepless in Seattle and many more. The Green Mile also because I cried everytime I watch this movie. I don't like his "Ladykillers" movie and "Joe versus the volcano".

I haven't got the chance to watch this movie, I'll try to search it in the net to know what's the storyline of this Burbs. I don't think I'll be able to watch this because I think it's a classic movie and its hard to find that kind of movie here in the Philippines.

I agree with your list. I think those are his best. He was also very good in Philadelphia and the Road to Perdition. I really like him as an actor. I saw one of his recent flicks which was Charlie Wilson's War. I liked him in that. I thought he did a very good job. I think he will be an A list actor for sometime to come.

Yeah Philadelphia is also a good film, though I didn't want him to die, I pity him because people treated him so low.

I've told a friend before that I really miss the kind of movies and the feel that they had that he used to do. I think the most recent movie of his I've seen is The Da Vinci Code. Other than that, the most recent I've seen is Forrest Gump, believe it or not. I would like to see Castaway though. But yeah, I really love the movies he did back in the 80s, like Turner and Hooch.

You should see Forrest Gump, I think you would love it as much as I did. The other movie that I recommend you to watch is The Terminal. I have not seen Turner and Hooch because it was shown I think before my birthdate. And I don't find any movie shops that have old classic movies of Tom Hanks. But still I'll try to find a way to watch his old movies.

Tom Hanks is a very good acter. but in The Davicicorde he has don nothing resanable for the caractor. My favorite filmmakers are out of hollywood. I like Pedro Almadova, Emir Kutharica, Ashoka Handagama and the like.....

I think Tom Hanks really have lots of good movies. It is very difficult to judge which one is the best. But I personally think that Forrest Gump is one of his best movies. Although it takes me years to understand this movie. I haven't watched Ladykillers and Joe Versus the Volcano so I can't have comments to it. In the past it seems he has a movie which he was starring as an AIDS patient. Perhaps at that time I was so young and therefore I didn't understand this movie. It was boring in my opinion. I love China

For me, Forest Gump is the best. I think, though all movies of Tom Hank are good, but, of course, Ladykiller was somewhat lacking.

i also love watching movies by tom hanks...especially "forest gump" and castaway, my husband loves it as well...he is really a good actor. The first movie i saw him was "sleepless in seattle" but back then i did not exactly notice his acting skills since i was more focused in the whole story. But after i have watched forest gump that's when i saw how good he was :D
