Birthstones and Flower of the Month

i was born in august and my stone is peridot, its a horrible greeny colour and i only remeber it as when i was younger i used to go through the argos catalogue and wish i was amatheyst. that lovely lilac colour is beautiful.

I was born in July and so my birth stone is the ruby and I have noticed it is also the moon stone. I don't know what my flower is so I will have to look that detail up. My sign of the zodiac is cancer and my birthday is American Independence Day. One day I will have to go to the USA to see the fireworks on my birthday.

My birthday is in October and I know my birthstone is Opal and that is about all I know. I like the stone and would like to have some opal jewelry but not this year. Cannot afford it right now. As far as the flower of my birth month I do not know what that is and really not that curious about it. I also do not know the meaning of the Opal but do know some of the prettiest ones I have seen have come from Australia.
