Alright, here is a picture that I took recently at a local bed and breakfast that I went to visit and write a review for. (Too cool to get that free when you review their place).
This was taken in the morning in the room with a digital camera. there was light behind me. Their were lights on in the bathroom at the end of the room. What do you think? Is this an orb, mist or ghostie? Or is this a lens flare. You all decide and tell me.

I guess it could be just the light from the window, its hard to say, I know I would love to captyre a spirit or something in a photo, I used to take a lot of photos at a Nursing Home for the residents families and I always hoped I would capture one there as I do believe they linger around people at this time but i never was that lucky...

Wouldn't that be something? Too cool. I figured that you may have perhaps once done that sort of work. You are a very friendly and helpful person. I appreciate you taking the time to help out. I think it may be the lighting as well. I will share some other pictures in that sequence. Till later.
hugs,
Kitty

Here is the second picture taken after the first one I posted here. I was taking them as I moved to the side. I wanted to get a series of pictures to document my article's review. What do you think?
I will post the final picture in this set of three pictures below.

It looks like the lens was misted a bit. I was hoping to say it was a ghost or something, but it does look like the lens :-(

The one looks clear as day to me, and the other looks like steam on the lense... I'm no expert or anything so it could be something and I just have no clue what I'm looking at....

It does look like mist. Funny thing today I just watched a show that talked about that sort of series of pictures as showing sequential moments. Now it's here, and now it's gone sort of thing. this referred to as spectral mist apparently. Too cool. I am looking further into this one. I have several of that place like this. I took pictures from every angle that day in the room for the review I was writing. (You never know when you will catch a good or a bad pic.) So, I always take loads of them to be sure. Just in case I need one for something I hadn't thought of.

I don't know much about photography, but I do enjoy paranormal and ghost phenomena.
From what I know about ghosts, that photograph does not contain an orb. Orbs in photographs are usually very distinct, and often look just like dust particles.
As for what could have caused it to be so bright, I would assume the bright colours of the wall have done something to make the digital camera have what I will call a focusing spasm. ;)

I don't know much about digital photography but this photo looks over exposed. It's washed out due to the too much light. It could be the light behind you causing it. Sorry I'm not much help but I'm still using my old slr.

I appreciate any input that you can offer. I agree that it looks really washed out. The neat thing is that it was taken in the middle of a set of other pictures. As stated below. I am going to check those out and get them uploaded tomorrow.
So check back here:

I think your going to find that it is a reflection of something. If you really want to find out if it really is something or not then bring the picture to a place that would know about things like orbs and have them take a look at the picture. They might be able to give you a more correct answer. I do hope you get the answer your looking for good luck.
