I went, as I posted in another post, on a trip to a near-by town. I caught this picture of a post advertising a place in that town. It was so strange I snapped a picture. I think it is a logger company that sells wood. What do you think?

That is funny so thanks for sharing. When I was shopping in a market place in Fiji I saw a sign that said 'no spitting, keep moving'. I thought charming. In Belize they have buses that used to be used to transport American children around in. I saw a funny list of do and do not near the front of the bus. It was amusing to read it.

That's a good story. I know the cultural differences have always fascinated me a great deal. One has to be very careful when traveling to not offend the other country. It's a bit of a job at times. It's also very interesting to learn all of the other cultures thoughts. The food can be so really different as well. For example, in South America one eats the eyes of the fish. Blech! I was at an event where somebody said that I must at least try it as it would insult the other person if I did not do it. I was really leary of it; but gave it my best. Nice meeting you. See you on the forum. Kitty
