Would you rather have a friend who is supportive and lies to you as a way of supporting you or a friend who doesn't seem as supportive because they won't lie to you?

I would much rather have a friend who is honest with me. I don't lik ebeing lied to and sometimes while the truth hurts ya just need to hear it. Sometimes I know the answer but I just don't to admit and my friends are there to be like a kick in the butt in th eright direction and I love that about them

I feel the same way and thats exactly how I am with my friends and like you just said about yours, thats one thing they love about me. I'm brutally honest but in a loving way ya know..I see no point in lying to ppl particularly a friend who comes to you in need of an honest answer ya know..I mean who does it benefit?

In all honesty when a friend DOESNT lie to you IMO thats a true friend ASSUMING of course they are tactful about it...I dont lie to my friends regardless of the topic and if its a serious topic I'm very careful how I word things but I still dont lie to them...

I prefer a friend who is truthful one who can tells me when I am wrong and not always agree with me. I don't want a friend to try and change me but to respect that I am the person that I am and not one who will change because you want me to. Respect me and I will respect you.
