I don't know who told you that you received 20 cents per post. What I can encourage you through to do is respond to other discussions by using more than four lines. When some contribute your discussion acknowledge their presence. If you are able to I will also suggest that you download pictures whenever you are posting a discussion. MYLOT is about contribution so if you want to make at least $30usd per month then set your target to $1.50c. You can achieved this by contributing to over 100 discussions or having alot of friends who will contribute to your discussions no matter what you write. If you don't have friends who will contribute to your discussion then try and contribute to others as much as you can. I hope this helps and welcome to MYLOT it is a friendly environment where one can have fun and earns at the same time.

My dear don't pay the ranking system any mind. When I first came to MYLOT I thought it was a good thing but seeing my star moving up and down because persons does not like interest such as politics, religion and christianity which I contribute to they will just come and rate you negative and this will have an impact on the colour of your star. I started with a red, yellow, silver and now I am at pink. Person will not like your honest answer to a discussion and will just rated you negative. You will enter a person discussion and that person will vote his/her friend positive and you negative. Don't look at it. The quality of discussions I come across since I have been on MYLOT are done by persons whose stars are as high as 8 which is a yellow and as low as 2. Don't concentrate on the star. Just be yourself and post and respond to the discussions that you think you like and can relate to. Kerry

The normal payment is between one and two cents. Whoever told it was twenty cents was either lying or they just didn't know what they were talking about. I've heard of some people making a little bit more than that per post, but I don't know if it's true, or if it's still possible. I've never made more than two cents a post.

Yeah, whoever told you that you make 20 cents for each post you write was either joking around or has no idea what they are talking about. Well, of course...you theoretically CAN make 20 cents per post, but they would have to be darn good quality posts I would imagine. So maybe the person meant it like that, I don't know. But yeah, generally speaking, most people don't make that much money per post. For the average person around here, earnings per post are a lot less. As the first replier said, I wouldn't pay much thought to your ranking. As far as I can tell it really has no effects other than for show. Trust me, no matter what you do, it sooner or later *will* fluctuate up and down for no apparent reason.
