What does this mean? Stomach problems...

A few weeks ago, I had to have an endoscopy. I am planning to have gastric bypass surgery, and it is the surgeon's standard practice to scope all patients before proceeding with the surgery. I was not allowed to eat anything for 12 hours before the procedure, so my stomach should have been empty. However, there was still food in my stomach. So today I had to have another test, a nuclear gastric emptying study, to find out why food is not leaving my stomach as it should. But what does it mean if food is not leaving my stomach like it should? What could be wrong? And could this have something to do with why I find it so hard to lose weight? Kelly

I think you stomach does not have enough gastric juice to digest every mineral from the food... or some other biological reason... Try some laxative...
