What Was The First Thing You Ever Wrote About?

I wrote my first real short story back in 1998 when I was twelve years old. It was for a class assignment where we all had to write a short story about whatever we wanted it to be about. Later on, we had to read it to the class. I remember mine was this really random story about a guy who woke up one night after hearing a scream coming from the castle he lived next door to (like I said, it was a random story). He decided to investigate and ended up getting captured by Frankenstein's monster. At the end, it turns out to be a dream and he wakes up once again hearing a scream coming from next door.
As far as I can remember, that was the first thing of the nature I ever wrote. Of course I'd like to think my stuff has gotten better since heh. But what about you all? What was the first creative writing thing you ever wrote about?

When I was a child, I used to write small and simple poems about anything that I perceived. I also liked drawing pictures about the poems that I make. It's fun. Upon reading my poems before, I always laugh on how innocent I was back then.

The first thing I wrote was back in 1978. I was a teenager. I think I had already taken a creative writing class in school so this would not have been the very first thing I wrote. I wrote journals for that class and never stopped. But in 1978 I wrote a poem describing the play-by-play of a Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Buffalo Sabres hockey game. It was published in the Toronto Star.
In my creative writing class I wrote a poem that I think will make a good children's book so I am hanging onto it. I want to get my novel edited and "out there". I've written several short stories and poems too.

The first book i have written was a love story novel and i am in 2nd year highschool. The story is like ugly duckling. The story starts with an higschool ugly girl, who has a crush in a popular guy in their campus but she was ignored by him because he was in love with equally popular girl in their campus. To cut the story short, the girl became rich and famous and was able to transform into a beautiful lady and the guy that he loves is courting her and love her but she is not making it easy for him eventhough she still loves him.
