I think that's a tough question, what would define the best player? ability? form? goals etc. Torres and Gerrard are really good yes.

he's getting on a bit now but in recent years brad friedel has been one of the best goal keepers around, just a shame the blackburn defence always had trouble backing him up!! lol xxx
