Dirty Politics and the Crooked Smiles of A Would Be President?

Have you been watching the Presidential Debates at all? I have such a difficult time looking at either of these "would be Presidents" with any amount of credulity. Neither one of them seems to have the ability to answer a question without blatently slandering the other. The answers to their questions warp and digress from answering the question to something that has nothing to do with the question. I realize that politicians are slippery, and I also realize that each of these guys needs to de-face the other as much as possible to try and sell their own points, but let's get real here people? Who are we voting for? Do we know anything more about these guys today than we did prior to the debates? I would say that we know they are good at beating up on each other.
I will tell you, I can't abide either one of them. McCain seems to be unable to do anything but meander about how "he has the scars to show" whatever agenda he is trying to prove he has supported. Obama talk in little spurts of words. He likes to...talk in two...or three...word spurts. And for all his practical stuttered statements, he doesn't really ever say anything.
This whole "negative attack" ads smear campaign that these two play towards is getting utterly ridiculous and I am, frankly, ready for both of them to be done with these debates. We are going to be stuck with one of them, and at this point, I don't even care which one it is, so long as I don't have to listen to them meander anymore.

What's new? I've hated presidential campaigns as long as I can remember. I've always thought that if a person has to resort to mud slinging, they don't really have much of a platform to stand on and that's a distraction tactic. Unfortunately it seems that both parties are usually guilty of it, so you just hold your breath and hope whoever is elected will do the country some little bit of good.

I'm watching all this crap but mostly to get a fix on what the economy is going to do. I will not vote for McCain or Obama either. Either one of these idiots that get in office will rip us off very quickly. I just flatly refuse to give them my permission to do that. If you vote for either of them that is exactly what you are doing.
