to be friends or not to be friends?

we don't ALWAYS get along with friends, or bestfriends for that matter. we argue, have petty quarrels, discussions, etc. but what if your friend/bestfriend confesses she/he loves you but you dont feel the same way? would you feel betrayed, would you still continue the friendship?share what's the best thing to do in this situation..

Just be honest with your friend. Don't lie because that will eventually blow up in your face and cause hard feelings. The truth maybe hard but it's always best.

it happened a long time ago..well he knew i wasn't into him. he knew my lovelife like an open book..
i did not talk to him for almost a year..now we're slowly gaining back the friendship.;o)

That's good. I'm glad to hear you didn't give up. Sure it was a slow process but I'm sure it was worth it in the end.

it was really so hard that time..now we're slowly picking up the pieces. it would be fine if i continue being friends with him since i'm already married. at least with my status i would be 'safe' from him hahaha!;o)

I'd been in love with this girl for 3 years, she was my best friend, I was just afraid if I ever tell her my true feeling about her, she wouldn't want to be my friend anymore... so now I just be there anytime she needed me... I'll wait for the chance...

i felt betrayed that time..god he was almost like a brother to me.i usually hug him, hold hands with him..and suddenly the confession?oh well..it's been long over..;o)
