Discussion responder... or Discussion starter?

Which one are you : Discussion responder or discussion starter? I think I am more of a discussion responder. I always can't find discussions that are interesting enough to start. What about you?

When I first started out, I used to respond a lot more.. Now, I think I probably do a lot more starting than responding but depends on the day. Some day I have ideas, some days I don't; happens to all of us I guess

Yeah, I don't usually have alot of ideas. I've never gotten any of my discussions into the top discussions area. Sighh.. :(

I'm definitely a discussion responder. Not to say that I haven't started my share of discussions. It just seems like everyone else has a lot more to say or a lot more interesting conversation than I do. :) And actually, the method I usually go through when I am on myLot posting to discussions is to find discussions that have no responses. It just seems to work out well for me. When you are responding to discussions, what method do you use? Do you see what's on the main page first? Or do you go to discussions that your friends started? First, I would go to the top discussion area. If there's so many discussion responses, it probably means the discussion should be quite easy to respond to so I would try there first. Secondly I would go to the one with no responses. It increases my chance of getting the best response award. Thirdly would be discussion from my interests. When I respond to discussions, I try to make sure my responds are constructive answers and are at least 5 lines long.

likewise, i just jumped into responding to my friends discussions i got in my inbox and in my interests. i found it easy that way even i tried to make discussions for myself to start, i just can't formulate those i need to open it.

I'm more of a responder. I love to respond than to start a discussion. Me too. I sometimes run out of ideas. Anyway, it's fine as long as our response thus help other members here especially the newbies.
