NOw that I look back and think about my childhood I realize that I used to be a really weird kid LOL!..I used to be suuper shy and whenever I went anywhere with my mom I used to hide behind her and if someone would try to talk to me I would cry..LOL
I used to also take apart all my toys and put them back together..I dont know why. I used to play alone and didnt like other kids my age..When I got a little older I used to fight with everyone and make the girls cry.LOL...and I would make my mom make me mashed potatoes everyday because for a long time I didnt eat anythign else.
But yeah I did a lot weird things and I was wondering if there was some weird things that your kids do now or that you used to do yourselfs..I just need a good laugh LOL..thanks ALL!!

i have done weird things before also, there would be times that i would really go out with my friends for hours, mostly 24/7 especially during summer days, and that often result to be scolded by my mom, and after that i wont go out for months just locked in my room and read lots of books, and i dont even want to talk to anyone, i just stay there as long as i want, i think thats a weird thing that i could remember, and until now i dont know why i act like that, lol

I think most everyone was weird when they were a kid. I know I was. I think we just couldn't help it, lol. I'm still pretty weird, as a matter of fact. :o)

hi brinbai I used to be a scrawny little girl who liked to climb trees, put on pretend plays, make picnic lunches and go for loong bike rides along the counrtyside. I was horribly shy around other people but got along well at school with the other kids. I was very shy around the adults that I did not know. I was a county child raised out in the county on a big farm.m

Hi Hatley,
Thanks for responding!..You didnt sound like you were weird just shy. LOL but I guess all kids were shy back then. I loved to climb trees when I was in school but I would get in trouble because I climbed up one and stayed there even after the bell rung. Everyone was looking for me and I wouldnt come down LOL..thanks again for responding!

Talk about shy. I was extremly shy. Sometimes I don't think I've grown out of it.
The first day of school I cried as if some was beating me. The teachers didn't know what to do. they promised me toys and tried everything they could. Eventually
they had to let my older sister take me home because I was distrupting the class. That was just the first day. My entire school life was filled with wierd stuff. Sure wish I had A.T.D to blame it on back then.

Hi BriNbai, I guess I must have been a weird kid too because I was very shy as well. I would hide whenever anyone strange came along. I missed a lot of school, especially in the first few years because I was always coming up with excuses to stay at home. As School Boards weren't as strict back then, I got away with more than I should have. I would often pretend to be sick and there wasn't always a doctor in the area. I got away with some pretty strange thing. I'm glad that it didn't continue or I probably wouldn't be able to read or write today. Blessings.

LOL..I used to pretend to be sick alot too.. sometimes I would get away wit it but most of the time I wouldnt. I would tell my mom my mom I either had a headache or stomach ache, cuz she couldnt prove that I didnt have either LOL.. Im glad she made me go to school though. I started gettingcomfortable around kids and I slowly became less shy.

I also was extremely shy all through my young life. When I was young I would run in the house when the mail man came down the street. I was horribly shy. So much so that it really hurt me considerably in decisions I made and things I didn't do that I wish I had now. Looking back my life could have been so much different.

I think about this sometimes too. I think if I wouldnt have been so shy Iwould have made more friends in my early years. I was so shy that even if I was starving and someone asked me if i wanted to have something to eat I would say say no.. But I think that the way i Was then made me who I am today So I dont regret it :] thanks for your response!

Hi briNbai,
I was so painfully shy and I didn't have many friends, only two friends, we use to just walk around the playground on our own, but food mum had no trouble with me, I was a good little girl.

I really don't think you were to unusual. We have severl kids in the family that are like that. One grew up to be a computer engineer, another is an inventor, and the third one is an Artist. Each child's brain developes differently and those with outstanding abilities seem to be more pronounced then the rest of us. We should expect great things from you.

I'm also very shy in my childhood. But I never hide behind my mom like you.My mom was a humorous woman. But my character was opposite to her.I used to avoid people.I have few friends. I have my own world. That world was lonely. I was very imaginative. I was some what lazy type of boy. For that reason my mom and dad did not gave me any work to do. They both relied on my brothers and sisters. In their eye I was rather hopeless. Like you I need good laugh.Thanks.

Being shy and always hide behind mum when we were small are quite normal to me. And little boys always like to make little girls cry to make fun from them. The weird thing about me was I like to be very clean. I would say quite extreme. I would think a sofa is dirty as many people would be sitting on that and their clothes might be dirty, so the surface will be dirty as well. I will still sit on that but definitely will change my clothes before I touch my bed.

hmm I think I was a bit weaird too, I was mega shy, even of my own aunts and uncles, I used to only ever really have one friend at a time but today i prefer to have many rather than best friends, but i think it is the shy part that made me a bit weird...

I think all ppl can look back and see a period of being a weird kid. I was extremely shy and would freeze up if called on in school. I can remember the teachers standing over me yelling my name and I wouldn't answer or anything...I was just like frozen in fear. I also read alot and could completely zone out in a book...often not hearing the bell. I was just shy and quiet but I'm sure alot of the staff and students thought I was weird.

I was also very shy when I would go places with my mother, I would seem like such a content and quiet child, I kind of feared speaking to others, it made me feel vulnerable- though when I was home I was a very loud child, not like the kid you would see in a public place, shy with the rest of the world haha. Though one time a police officer came to the door when I was a child and asked for my mother to get witness information, and I was about three years old at the time- when he asked "Where is your mother?" I stood right up to him and said "We call her MOMMY!", so I was pretty protective of the home. Now I am basically exactly the same, I am still shy with outsiders, though on the inside I am extremely open with my personality and I laugh the loudest, and also I am defiant still towards power figures in society. Hmm I am trying to think of some weird things I did when I was little, perhaps when I convinced my dog that plastic play food was real food, and she knew it was not, but I told her to eat it constantly so she finally did when I commanded her... that was bad, she had to get surgery and my parents were pretty mad at me for a while. I remember when I was a little kid I would save all of the candy I got and didn't eat it, I treated it just as I would with money now haha, it's like that trait passed on to how I hoard my money . Well anyways, have a great night or day, I am going to bed!

Hey come on don't call yourself weird. Ok just go back, be a small kid and see yourself now. You'll see how weird you have become now. Its all about perception see. I think no kid can be weird. You as a little boy would call yourself weird now for not eating mashed potatoes or for facing the world and not hiding behind anyone...
What say ???
