When I think of Russia I think of a vast country with populations centers in the west and a few in the East. I read a book by Louis LaMoure called the "Last of the Bread" about an American Flyer (A Native American of the Souix Tribe) who was captured and taken to Russia. He escapes and the book is the chase across Russia Whimbeing tracked by a Native Russian Tracker. Very exciting and the aurthor pints a picture of Russia as a vast wilderness and a very cold unforgiving place in the winter.
I think of the book when you say Russia. I have never been there except in books.
