When at all possible I will buy made in the USA. As I think it is a very good thing to do. As this way I help keep jobs here at least I try to. It is getting harder and harder to find things made here. Tonight I bought jumper cables for my van and my son's car and I almost passed out. They were made here in the USA. Plus the price wasn't to bad. I got tool's this weekend from Home Depot. That made me happy as well. So do you try to buy things made in the USA. and if so why? and if not why? Thank you for reading and have a nice day/night.

Sometimes yes and sometimes no. It just depends on what I am buying. And a lot of times the stuff that is not made here is a lot cheaper than what is. I really have to be very careful in my spending habits as this is a one income family and we have 4 children. Whenever I can buy American I do though. Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

Yes!!!!! I want to make sure that it's made right here at home. I also make sure my books are published in the USA....well the first one I was insistant that it was and they up and moved to the Phillipines....that p*ssed me off! Now when I have to call someone I can hardly understand what they are saying and it takes twice as long to get a book done and in the hands of a customer!

Yes that is true. But we have unions that have helped us get better pay and got rid of children having to work. But now we make way more and companies are leaving. So I try to buy what is made here to keep jobs here. So you would buy what is made in India to keep jobs there. Thank you for reading. talk more later. have a good day

There are times I wonder about the companys all running off to other countries because labor is cheeper. Well, one can only hope that they will stop working for pennies and realize that the companies are getting richer and they are not. Thank you for responding. Your friend onlydia

we rarely buy products made in USA mainly coz of the price. anyways, I have noticed that most of the products being sold even if it's like a shirt or something with american flag...when you take a look closer at the tag it says made in China

Yup. Whenever i go to your country. Quality control there is really strict, so the goods delivered are at par to the customer's standards. Thanks for the add.

Why thank you very much. I have never been outside the USA. There are so many states here I havn't seen. So I have to see the USA first. That will take forever as I have no money. But that is fine. Money isn't everything. Your friend onlydia

i try, but it sure does seem to be getting harder to find. shoot the other day we bought some new bathroom towels for my grandmother, and learned they were made in Pakistan! which really really surprised me. i mean i dont think ive seen anything with a label saying it was made in Pakistan before. bad thing was that ALL the towels that were there were from Pakistan..so no choice in the matter, couldnt afford to go to the other side of town trying to find affordable towels made here in the USA. its very frustrating when you hearing commercials and politicians etc, saying to "buy made in the USA" when you are TRYING to and cant hardly find anything!

Yeah I really know how that goes. Plus you spend 1/2 or twice a much for products made in USA. But there are times if it keeps me or my neighbor here then ok. I will give up to buy USA. I just found out that LG products are not made here at all. they ony sell them here. Washer, drier, stove, frig,. My friend at work was shocked as that is all she has in here home. Thank you very much as I was wondering. have a nice day CinderInMySoul. Hope to talk to you later onlydia

If possible I always buy the Made in America. Few things turn me off more than this cheap junk made in China. We are also now getting a very poor quality of can goods and other food items that are made here in the US. I don't buy them either. Even made in America doesn't assure good quality like it did in the past. On thing I hate is to buy something marked as made in America only to find out it is assembled from parts from all over the world. Cars are a good example of this and electronics are another.

These day's in order to get in on a bid. You have to have a company in a third world country. That is what they told us at my job. As half of compay is moving to Mexico. Whirlpool is there as well. We print faceplates for them. At least part or most of thre stuff is made here. Now your LG. products none are made here or put togther here they ship them here and sell them that is it. Thank you for responding.
