i've thought of it but has grown afraid of actually having one..imagine how big it would get?my future babies will not be safe.. but there's this online game that i play that has pets in it..my character has a tiger pet.;o) i came to imagine when it was first introduced that it would be really big but when it came out, it was just a cub..disappointing!but the cub will have to do..at least my dream has been realized even if it means only in online gaming.;o)

Their appetite really concerns me too. What if we dont give them enough food? lol. Yeah! This could be not applicable to us. Anyway, they sure are cute.

A tiger! NO way! I'm afraid of wild animals like that, it might attack me or something. I'll just stick with a cat or a dog, that way I'm safe.

Well, I've never thought of having tiger as a pet, though they are quite beautiful. I don't think they can be kept in the house, and I don't think I can control them if anything goes wrong. It's really too dangerous to keep a tiger in the house. Perhaps if you work in the zoo, then you can make it as your pet? ^_^

Oh that would be a dream come true! I have always pictured myself cuddled up with one on the floor watching television. Being able to play with it ears would be fun to do also

I used to have a cat before and I love playing with the ear(so sensitive) but it is often irritated by that. I hope tigers are more nice.

Nope, as everyone said it is wild and is hard to train. They are carnivores and when it gets hungry. even you his human friend I bet he will eat you alive. Not like dogs.. they could be a vegetarian or something. Hey, it may be possible for a vegetarian Tiger to raise as pet. lol

Yes, another problem it to feed it. We should have sufficient meat in the freezer for them. If we dont and they are hungry, they might eat us as well. Especially, since meat is expensive, only rich can suppy the food regularly. Speaking of rich, I bet only the rich can afford having tiger cubs as pet but not many have the adventurous character to try having one. As for the vegetarian tiger, I guess mushrooms and lentil paties will decieve them, thinking that its meat. Since you've mention it, I wonder if that is possible.

huh..no.. there's no doubt they are beautiful animals, especially when they're still cubs, but let's face it, no matter how hard you try to train it, a wild animal remains a wild animal, that will preserve its wild instinct. even in a circus, where are professional trainers, accidents still happen. i wouldnt take that risk

Speaking of cubs, is there any potion on which these cute things can drink so they will remain cubs forever? As for their wild nature, cats remain the same with their big buddies only they are smaller(less harmful to humans, hehehe) but I believe that tigers like cats can be sweet(if you mess with a cat, scratches you will have. Same goes with tigers). As for the circus and zoo accidents, I guess that we should be extra cautious since we are rational and they are not, they cant destinguish between real danger and false alarm. Remember the law of nature "Survival of the fittest", If ever they sense something dangerous, they would do the same thing we do "fight or flight". Accidents lie this are due to human miscalculation and the reaction of the wild animals to danger. To sum it all, I bet having a pet as wild as tigers is not as bad as what we may think it is. We only need to give them a little more space of their own.

Yes I have considered the possibility, being a big cat lover myself. Tigers are just so adorable, yet can be wild and potentially dangerous at the same time. Though I know it would probably nothing more than a dream since you would have to get a lot of connections, and have a lot of money in order to buy a tiger legally. I'm sure you'd have to own like a wildlife sanctuary and have them grow attached to you when they are young, and even then they like to play and rough around, so you do have to be careful around them as they grow older. . .maybe get a special type of tiger proof armor made if you want to interact with them when they grow older, just to be on the safe side. Maybe if you raise the cubs, with a litter of domesticated kittens, maybe they'll be more tame compared to cubs living in the wild? xD I know there is a special sanctuary for bengal tigers somewhere in China where they live peacefully among monks. . .I saw part of a documentary and I thought that was absolutely amazing. . .
