Either we buy the assembled computer or the brand one according to the different situation. If you are a DIYer,of course you want to buy different parts of the computer and then put them together yourself. It's cheaper than the brand computer. In fact, most of the DIYers are not care about the money spent on the machine. They just enjoy the process of picking out parts of the computer and assembling them. What a wonderful thing it could be!On the other hand,if you are not familiar with computer, chosing a brand one is recommended as the best choice for you. They will offer after-sales service. For me,I'll buy both.Hehe :-)

I think assembled machines are the best choice; because companies always make a flaw or two in the systems they make (no matter how great they are) to reduce the manufactoring costs, for example using cheap and not-so-great parts or even not including some. But on the other hand, with an assembled machine if you really know your way with computers you can get whatever part you want to be added, aka having the computer in the exact way you want, and they're usually cheaper especially if you make it yourself! So then its' quality depends on your choices and how good the one who made it is

Brand machine... usually people said that assemble machine are better than branded machine, as 'they' are really professional people, they know the kind of hardware which they are assembling... for non-professional people, like me, should buy brand machine... cuz we don't really know about assembling a computer...

I always prefer assembled computers rather than branded. This is because of minimum cost. Other than this if you go for branded, if you face any problem in your computer you have to wait for them to come and service. Whereas if you have assembled computer you can ask the person who assembled your computer to solve the problem in your place. But when you choose a person for assembling computer choose a person who will available to you all the time.

hi
i prefer to buy a branded computer than an assembled pc.i am ow using a branded computer and it has no problems till nw and i am using it for quite a long period(3-4years).but some of my friends bought assembled computer and it has many problems even it is newer.
but if you are an expert with hardwares you can prefer assembling it with right configurations.unsuitable configurations in hardwares are often causing troubles.

i personally choose for machine rahter than brand. but this only goes to when i'm buying desktop. the reason is that, branded computer like any brand example dell, fujitsu, samsung and many more, yes they are good but the price are higher. you have to pay for the name. but if buy seperately, components from different brand, then you build your own computer, you'll get cheaper price, at the best specifications of desktop. but if i'm buying other things, like laptop, or other electrical appliences, i look for branded one. since you pay for something good.

I prefer assembled pc than a branded one.If you are familiar with computer hardware and its components,it is better to assemble it,so that you can save lot of money. If you buy a assembled pc from the shop, there is a chance of getting cheated. If the components used inside the pc is not original, you can loose the money.

I will buy a branded computer as it will have a good service after sale. I don't have to worry about it. Sometimes I am afraid the assemble computer will use the cheap accessories and therefore its quality can't compare to the branded one. Especially nowadays computers are less expensive. And even the branded computers are cheaper.
I love China

my last 2 pc are assembled and i find them working well. getting assemble machine ensure that u get the specifications and power u need and in this way, u are also cutting down on the cost compared to a brand machine. however, the only con is that the warranty is not as comprehensive and troublesome compared to brand machine. But that does not mean that brand machine is necessarily good. i have friends who bought from dell but their machines turn out to have many more faults than mine. i do not know about other brand name though although i have a fujitec laptop and it is working well.

Hi dear i was in this business so i am telling you with experience. That you should buy a branded pc rather than assembled.
You know most oof the person wants everything to be perfect right from processor to the keyboard so they opt for assembled and lower price also add to it.
But the problem is many times company do not provide services as they were not used with the company parts. So there is a big problem there, Compatibility of computer pats is another one.
And forget abt the resale value.
So i will recommend banded. But still if u need some specifications go for DELL
it provides u a wide variety of options.
HP , sony VAIO and APPLE are also good

If me, I will directly buy a ready made computer. I don't know much about assembling a computer and i could be time consuming. At my place, there's computer shop which will allow us to mix match. We can choose whatever motherboard we want and also other accessories, then the computer shop will help us to assemble the computer up. In that way, the computer is customized at your need and also a little bit cheaper than the branded computer.
