I always prefer to go by stairs. Unless if I have to go to third or more floors or if I have heavy load in my hands, I prefer stairs than the lift. When moving to down floors I never take a lift. I enjoy getting down by stairs..How about you? When going to second floor, do you prefer climbing through stairs or take a lift/elevator?

I better choose the stairs because if its only in the second floor not to hard to walk and it is best for your health. Part of the exercise. I hated elevators I dont know why. Maybe I am afraid of elevators. Everytime I will take elevators my stomach seems to go upside down. If I will not control myself I will vomit. lol....

Yap, but some people now a days prefer elevators or escalators. Maybe because of the fast pace of life now a days.

I prefer stairs. I am terrified of elevators. I feel like the walls are closing in on me and at any second the elevator will get stuck and I'll be trapped with no way out. I know some of this sounds silly, But I've got a huge fear of it

Well seeing as I don't like confined spaces and have anxiety about getting into a lift in case it breaks down then I will always use the stairs, even for five floors I will avoid the lift at all costs. I went into a building once and I was told to go up to the seventh floor, the guy directed me to the lifts, I asked him where the stairs were, he he again indicated the lifts, I said no, stairs, there must be stairs? I think the guy was quite perplexed and irritable with me, fortunately the door to the stairs was easily found and I went up the stairs. I am sure I wasn't the only person who doesn't like lifts? to come into the building, unless he had a bad day of course!

If it is like only two to three floors... then i would take the stairs... elevators have a way of making me dizzy... but if it is like 4 to 10... then there is nothing i could to but use the elevator... since i do not want to be out of breath and tire for the meeting...
I remember when i visited my boss who was confine in Makati Medical Center... the elevator took so long so i decided to take that stair going to the 7th or 9th floor... when i reached the 5th... i immediately regretted not waiting...

I am not lazy to use the stairs - I think it would be a great exercise. Well one reason is that elevators are supposed to be used for floors higher than 3rd. But of course there are exceptions such as when you have to carry a package or a big item up and the stairs do not provide that ease of access.

If elevator is free and available i prefer to take it. If its busy with queue of people then i believe my time is more important and i too climb fast normalyy so i make a climb of stairs there..it depends on my freshneesss too..if so tired i wait and go by lift.

I don't like the stairs but I take them because it's good for me! Unless my back is really giving me fits that day, I'll always take the stairs. In fact, public elevators should be located on the second floor of every building so people wouldn't be so lazy! The elderly and handicapped, of course, could use special elevators.

me too i alwasys use the stairs if going to the 2nd floor. i am always in a hurry and if i choose the elevator i might be late. sometimes you have to wait for someone or wait for the elvator to go down that might take forever.

i will choose elevator..because it is best compare with other two things..if we go in lift..atlest we have to wait sometime to get the lift..then we have to stand in a same place..if we choose the steps..we have to walk a long distance but it is good to our health..at the same time i am a lazy girl..i wont choose it..i cant walkt tht much..so while going in elevataor i can walk..no need to wait..the walk too less..have a nice time
