You Have Library???

whoa!!i just love books so much that even if i would be locked in my room for months would just be ok with me, as long as i have books to read, sad to say that i have to borrow books from public libraries or friends because i cant afford to buy!!dont mind that friend of yours, maybe he just dont know how useful books are, just ignore him, youre really correct when you say FRIEND'S STUPID THINKING!!lol hey can i have even just a book from you??hehehe happy lotting!!

I am not much into books,whatever kind it is. Perhaps I developed such a phobia because of my history text books I just happen to read You can win book by Shiv Khera. It was awesome. The only book that I read and I liked I've always wanted to learn,it helps us in a lot of ways. But have never been successful in develpoing that habit. Cheers

I love books and have quite a few of them in my collection as well. I don't think I have 3,000 though. But I might get there. I think your friends just don't get it, especially if they are not avid readers themselves. Don't worry, it's better to read a book than sitting mindlessly in front of the TV;) Your post reminds me of something my oldest told me last week. She is in second grade but her reading level is that of a fourth grader. Consequently she is bored with the books the class gets to read during self-reading time and the teacher went and got her books from the fourth grade classroom to read. Well, of course they don't have pictures in them or very few but good ones. One of her classmates said that those books are stupid because they don't have pictures in them, lol. My daughter went ahead and showed him the few pictures that were in the book she had. She pointed out how detailed and artful they were compared to the 'picture' books this boy was reading. Then she went ahead to explain how much more story there was in her book, lol. She desperately wanted him to understand why she loves reading and how much she learns from the books she reads. His reply: "I rather watch the movie!"

Wow..so you have your own library? is that what you are asking. 3000 is alot and I think that is very cool. I wish I had my own. I have to use public library.

I am a book lover too. I don't have a personal library,its because my room is not spacious enough..I love reading book and I prefer borrowing it from the library. If you have a big house,then it will be a good habit,otherwise not.

Hi Tushvi, The people who say Half mad to you, are fools. I also use to say the same to my sister who is a book freak. but now i am free for most of the time, and i myself have started reading the books. i am loving it. its not insane, but now i feel, staying away from them is kind of insanity. they are ones best frioend and past time. we learna lot from them... now i myself have a library of 35 books in three months, i i have never dared to count my sisters book. they r just enormous and i know how it helps. I like this habbit of yours.
