So what is the longest movie ever made?
Movie title: None
Director: Buracz Bosnitz
Country: Czech Republic
Length: 908 hours
Year: 1968
Notes: I don't believe this qualifies as it consisted of 908 hours of blank film. It was shown once, then was used to film movies. Personally I'd like to know who actually watched it?
Movie title: The Cure for Insomnia
Director: John Henry Timmis IV
Country: USA
Length: 85 hours or 52 minutes
Year: 1987

I don't know what is the title of that movie, but am pretty sure it requires many many popcorns ! I think the longest movie I saw was the assasination of Jesse James, I can't find the stats on the movie, however I find it quite a bore when the movie is too long, I find myself sleepy or I rather need a book to read and stare at the screen for a long time, lol. But there are exemptions of course with good movies need to be long for reasons that there are scenes that need not to be uncut or whatever the director had in mind.

Wow those are really long movies! I bet it's boring!! The reason why most movies are around 2 hours long is so that people will be entertained. Movies that keep you on the edge can be dragging at times. And it's not good to show long movies at the cinema because people will need to pee. So long movies aren't profitable at all.
