Going before going out - Do you pee before you go out or travel?

Hi everyone! 
In an article by Dr. Joseph Corriere M.D., auto accidents are the leading cause of bladder injuries. In a high speed collision, the force of the seat belt against a full bladder can cause it to rupture.
I always have the habit of going or peeing before I go out. I never fail to do that. And even if I don't really feel like peeing, once I'm inside the restroom I just go. Another reason why I do that is because I don't like the feel of peeing while walking or traveling. It's very uncomfortable and it hurts in the bladder. I also don't like peeing in public restrooms so I make sure that my bladder is empty when I go out or travel.

I never pee until i feel like doing it...i've read in an article that if you forcely pee it cause a bad effect to your bladder and its not good for your urinary system and if you always pee forcely then your pee would start leaking everytime.

oh yes I do..Always!!
Even if I am just going to the nearest mall, i do pee before leaving..Who knows, there might be a heavy traffic, would take me more than half an hour to get there.
I surely dont like the feeling also of having a full bladder and having to rush for the nearest comfort room...
Though most of the comfort rooms in the mall are always being cleaned, we will never know how long the line would be when we get there..Most specially during weekends or there is a sale..I wouldnt wanna experience peeing on my pants, if I cant wait for my turn..
true, that there are places which have really smelly and very dirty comfort rooms, and I really dont wanna pee there..
. Good thing I think I have strong cervix muscles that I can hold it for long.

I pee before leaving a restaurant but not before I leave the house. I don't drink much liquids anyway so I don't have to pee a lot. But when I eat out I usually drink a glass of water or tea or whatever is being served, which means that I'll something to pee out haha. I also go before seeing a movie and before getting on a plane.

I have 2 special needs children so getting out the door to go anywhere is a major feat in my home. Normally, we all go to the restroom before we leave to go anywhere. It's a good habit to get into and it saves time when I'm out with my children. A majority of the time, if we don't relieve ourselves before venturing past the front door, we spend some time doing it when we have reached our destination. So, yes, we do the same in our home lol. It's a must around here and now having heard the seat belt issue it seems like it will continue to be a practice in my home.

Hi! Yeah I think it's the kids who mostly needs to go before going out. I think it could be a bother when kids has to go when you're already say, inside the mall since they can't do it by themselves. And for safety reasons everyone should make it habit to pee before traveling.

i always do that... as not to keep on peeing when i have the chance and i dontdrink that much either...
