I watched the presidential debate last night and was just unimpressed with both Mccain and Obama. I was leaning more towards Mccain rather then Obama to start with. Last night they both were on the spot about their stance in the same issues and I thought to myself my god they both are liars. I think Obama is arrogant and believes serious issues can be fixed with some type of magic fairy dust,I think Mccain has a problem with repeating himself twenty times and beating a dead horse. I was sickened by how many times "joe the plumber" was harped on. I really was aware of a sense of distrust in both of them and I honestly am considering not voting for either. How about you?

I, too, found it tiring to hear about Joe the Plumber over and over again and, in all honesty, didn't feel pity for someone who is in a position to purchase a business that will generate in excess of $250,000. Hearing McCain assure Joe that he won't raise his taxes and that he will give him tax breaks when my husband and I don't receive the same perks irritated me.
I don't agree with you on the magic fairy dust issue. I thought that Obama gave specifics about many things that made sense (at least to me), about cutting programs that don't work while keeping those that do. I liked his ideas about investing now for our future, in healthcare, energy and education. McCain lacked specifics...he was continually vague except for his across the board spending freeze...and went on the attack at every opportunity.
Originally I supported McCain but then he chose Palin for his running mate and, the more I learned about her, the less confidence I had in her and in him. So, I now support Obama.

I have to respectfully disagree with you about Obama being arrogant - I don't see that in him at ALL - or that he believes issues can be fixed with "magic fairy dust". I see McCain as a tired, angry old man, and I don't mean this as an attack on his age because that can sometimes be said about people much younger than him or not be said about people older than him. I'm treating age more as an attitude than a number. I think Obama has gone into much more detail about his proposals while McCain has just circled around the issues and attacked Obama's positions rather than defend or explain his own.
Speaking of "Joe the Plumber", who doesn't have a license, owes back taxes, and compared Obama to Sammy Davis, Jr., just moments ago McCain blamed Obama for "Joe" being hounded by the media and having his life being dug into. HE brought it up but now it's Obama's fault?
