~~Migraines~~

I suffered from migraines for a couple of years. So bad I had to have beta blocker shots in the head. Very painful but they worked for a short time. It seems that when it rained I got a migraine. Now I think it was just a coincidence. Since the end of August I have been migraine free. Two whole months without a headache, migraine or any aches and pains. The only change in my life was cutting out some stress and it has done me a world of good. Anyone else find that stress causes your migraines????

Hello pink! I have migraine for 11 years now. I stopped taking pain reliever because I am already immuned of it. Everytime I take it, it seems it never relieve the pain I felt because of my migraine. All I do now if I am having my migraine is to go to our room and sleep. And I never take any pain reliever anymore as long as I can carry or handle the pain. But if its really worst, that is the time I am going to take pain reliever. 11 years is quite long to suffer for migriane. Migraine causes of stress, lack of sleep or eating, etc. Good for you because you are migraine free now! Me, sometimes I am having migraine if I did not sleep that well.

Eleven years!!!!! Oh my. Have you thought of seeking help from a Pain Specialist? I did and it was through her that I realized it was stress that was causing mine. Along with the headaches I was having terrible neck pain. She told me that some people carry their stress in their neck and back area. I was getting massages atleast once a week. I have not had to have one in over two months now. I hope and pray that one day you will be pain free. :0)

That's great news! "Stress is a killer!" I have heard that expression said often. It can do many horrible things to us. Very important to learn how to deal with stress. We can't avoid all stress but we can learn to mange it.
