Is there an site or authourity where we can report spam ?

I have been receiving numerous mails relating to lotteries, compensation plans, money transfers etc. The kind of spam i am receiving is very annoying. Is there any site or authourity where we can send details of these emails so that they can take some legal action against such persons who are sending these mails ?

spam@uce.gov is to send it to the government.. just forward it and they are suppose to look into it
